🍫 Chocolate Date Bark

A delicious no-bake treat made with sweet dates, creamy nut butter, crunchy nuts, and a rich chocolate coating. Perfect when you want something sweet and easy! 😍

Ingredients

  • 12–15 soft Medjool dates, pitted
  • ½ cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1½ cups dark or milk chocolate
  • ½ cup chopped almonds, peanuts, or pistachios
  • ½ tsp flaky sea salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract, optional
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil, optional

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare the dates:
Remove the pits and place the dates on a sheet of parchment paper. Arrange them close together.
  2. Flatten:
Cover with another sheet of parchment and gently press or roll the dates flat into one even layer.
  3. Add the nut butter:
Spread peanut butter or almond butter evenly over the flattened dates.
  4. Add the crunch:
Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the nut-butter layer and gently press them down.
  5. Melt the chocolate:
Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth. Stir in coconut oil if desired.
  6. Cover with chocolate:
Pour the melted chocolate over the dates and spread it into an even layer.
  7. Finish:
Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and, if you like, a few extra chopped nuts.
  8. Chill:
Refrigerate for 1–2 hours, or until the chocolate is completely firm.
  9. Break & serve:
Remove from the fridge, break into bark-sized pieces, and enjoy! 🍫✨

🔥 Tip: Keep the bark refrigerated so the chocolate stays firm and the dates remain chewy.
